Jiao Lien Richard Pacheco started training martial arts at the age of 14. He studied Karate Kyokushin-kai for 7 years and then moved on to learning several other arts (Hapkido, Karate Shorin Ryu, Qwan-ki-do) for about 5 years. In 2003, he began training White Crane style. He has been teaching adults and children at the Laval Academy since 2010 and was certified instructor in 2012.

Highlights

2013 : Won the silver medal in Men's Advanced Empty Hands Forms Division at the Eastern Canada Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Tournament.

2014 : Won the gold medal in Men's Advanced Empty Hands Forms Division at the Eastern Canada Traditional Chinese Martial Arts Tournament.
